The club was founded in 1908 although golf has been played on the common since 1865.

The beautiful natural woodland course (par 68), was designed by Tom Dunn, and is challenging for all standards of player. The club features long par 3's and relatively short Par 4's, and because it is built on common land, has no sand bunkers - though our "grass bunkers" pose an equally difficult challenge.

Peter Allis described our Par 3 on the twelfth, "Queens Mere" as "one of the finest Par 3's in England," and when the staff of the magazine "Golf Monthly" played the course earlier this year, they said that our superb greens - open all the year round - were as good as any in the country.

Located only 7 miles from the centre of London, we offer excellent value membership and green fees.
